Newcastle International airport takes regular service flights from London Gatwick with (BAA CitiExpress), Glasgow and Edinburgh with (Loganair) Manchester and Norwich with (Eastern Airways). The roads in the Borders are a pleasure to drive on, wide and well maintained with fantastic views. Access the River Tweed and Tweedsmuir off the Main A74 trunk road which links Glasgow to Carlisle and the South at Junction 15 Moffat. From Moffat simply take a leisurley drive North up the A701 following the River Annan and then the River Tweed reaching Tweedsmuir after and easy 25 miles of scenic splendour. The cottage is located just off the A701
