For sand and sea air, pack a picnic and take a trip to the flat sandy beach at Balmedie (22.5 miles). Aberdeen is a 24.5-mile drive away, where there is the Science Centre, Maritime Museum, and much more to discover. Venturing further afield, younger guests will adore a trip to The Den and The Glen (27 miles), an indoor and outdoor play centre.
The interior of the property is filled with light, colour, and pattern, and is the epitome of classic luxury. On the ground floor, head from the entrance hall into the grand hall, a long and spacious living area with stylish seating, an open fire, and large bay windows. The bright and cheerful kitchen comes well-equipped with an AGA, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, as well as a charming window seat for when you’re sneaking a snack in-between meals. Serve formal dinners in the opulent dining room, and afterwards retire to either the snug/library to read a book in front of the fire or try your hand at table tennis in the games room.
The bedrooms can be found upstairs, and they have all been elegantly and sumptuously decorated in a variety of styles and colour schemes.
