Situated on the outskirts of the picturesque Highland village of Drumnadrochit, this charming riverside cottage has a private hot tub and is an ideally situated base for a relaxing holiday.
Situated on the Great Glen way route from Inverness to Fort William, the bustling village of Drumnadrochit is well known as the Nessie capital of Loch Ness because of its excellent Loch Ness Monster exhibitions. It also offers a fine choice of bars, restaurants and shops, making it a popular destination and an excellent base for a Highland holiday. There are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy including climbing, hill-walking, sailing, water sports, golf, horse riding, cycling and winter sports at the nearby Nevis Range. You can take a cruise on Loch Ness or visit the historic Urquhart Castle. Inverness is just 16 miles away and offers a wide choice of restaurants, pubs, museums, theatres and shops.
On entering this charming bungalow you will find yourself in the welcoming and comfortable open-plan lounge/diner. The attractive and inviting lounge is an ideal space to relax in, complete with traditional wood burner, TV/DVD and patio doors leading to an external decking area and garden. You will find a perfectly situated dining area. Heading over to the stylishly designed kitchen, you will find it is fully equipped with everything you may need including electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Exploring this comfy property further you will find there are two spacious bedrooms: there’s a cosy double room and a comfy twin bedroom. You will also find a wet room complete with shower and WC.
Stepping outside, you can unwind and relax in the delightful enclosed garden which has a decked patio area with garden furniture, BBQ and even a private hot tub. There is also storage available for outdoor equipment.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
