Stay in this quirky converted bunkroom Cottage with homely Log Fire and relaxing covered Hot Tub, set in the Scottish countryside with plenty to see and do nearby including a visit to the city of Perth or a walk or cycle through the Cairngorms National Park.
Set close to Pitlochry with golf course, shops, restaurants and the Edradour Distillery, an 1825 distillery where you can enjoy a whisky tour or tasting. The property, part of Mains of Edradour Farm, was built in 1725, and the tenant farmer was responsible for the plans of Edradour Distillery in 1834. The famous Edradour Distillery is a few hundred metres away, and the private water supply for the property is the same water supply for the distillery. For those who prefer to explore on foot or two wheels, close by is the Cairngorms National park with walking and cycling opportunities. Head slightly further afield to the city of Perth. Explore castles and palaces, get a bite to eat at one of the restaurants, visit a museum or enjoy some retail therapy.
Stepping inside this small, quirky and cosy property, with a real penchant to whisky, you will find yourself in the lounge/diner. The lounge area is the perfect space to relax after a long day exploring the area, with comfy seating, which can also be a large sofa bed, set in front of the Smart TV and warming wood burner. Also, on the ground floor is some storage space for your clothes so you can unpack and settle in. Heading up the ladder to the first-floor mezzanine level, you will find the super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request) to enjoy a good night’s sleep. Heading back outside and across the private yard, you will find the stylish kitchen and wet room. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, combi microwave oven and fridge with ice compartment, perfect to prepare a romantic meal, also with breakfast stools to enjoy a morning coffee or the resulting meal. Completing the accommodation is the wet room with shower and WC.
Venturing outside there is a private sheltered outdoor patio, with garden furniture so you can enjoy your morning coffee. You can also enjoy dining alfresco with picnic bench and a charcoal BBQ, and a chimnea for those cooler evenings. There is off-road parking for one car.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
