Close to the coastal village of Auchencairn and within easy reach of Dalbeattie and the market towns of Castle Douglas, Scotland’s ‘Food Town’ and Kirkcudbright the ‘artist town’. Galloway Activity Centre, by the banks of Loch Ken offers a great choice of water sports and activities. Explore Galloway Forest Park, home to the first Dark Sky Park in Europe. Enjoy mountain biking trails on the 7stanes and golfers can enjoy an impressive thirty two courses in the region. For wildlife and bird enthusiasts the RSPB Ken Dee Marshes and the fantastic red kite trail is a must!
Enter the stylish luxurious lodge up a small flight of steps into the spacious hallway, which is the ideal place to store all outdoor clothing. Venture into the fabulous spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with floor to ceiling full length windows to admire the stunning coastal views. The lounge area has comfortable sofas, Smart TV and Sonos bluetooth speaker and is a great place to perhaps watch a film or listen to your favourite music after a day out exploring, or simply sit back and take in the breath-taking sea views. The well-equipped kitchen is the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine cooler and large central island with seating area. The dining area is the ideal place to enjoy romantic meals together, enjoying sea views with French doors leading out to the enclosed decked area, with sauna and hot tub. Heading back through to the hallway you are met with the wonderful king-size bedroom, with magnificent sea views, smart TV and large dressing room. The bathroom is exceptionally spacious, with a beautiful contemporary free-standing bath, a large separate shower with double headed rain shower and a WC. There is also direct access from the bathroom out to the enclosed balcony with hot tub and sauna. Finally completing the spacious accommodation is the handy utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Step outside onto the spacious fully enclosed large patio area, which provides a safe haven for dogs. Relax and enjoy a dip in the private hot tub and admire the stunning sea views. Enjoy al fresco dining and lazy evening star gazing across the bay. There is also a fully covered deck area, with seating and fantastic multi coloured, twinkling star mood lighting and a splendid sauna to enjoy. The private drive has ample off-road parking at the side of the lodge.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
